Understanding the Stream Studio Workspace

Learn what each Stream Studio section does and how the workspace helps you manage your live auction stream.

The Stream Studio workspace brings the key controls for managing a live auction stream into one interface. You can manage the layout, camera, microphone, presentation audio, preview and live broadcast controls from the same workspace.

Understanding the Stream Studio Workspace

The options available in Stream Studio depend on the auction presentation and the equipment connected to your computer.

Layout

The Layout section controls how the presentation and camera are displayed to the online audience.

Camera Only displays the selected camera without the presentation.

Stream Display displays the presentation configured for the online stream.

Venue Display displays the presentation configured for the venue.

The layouts available depend on the presentation configured for the auction.

Camera

The Camera section allows you to select the camera used for the live stream.

Cameras available to your computer can appear in this section. Once a camera is selected, you can adjust its position, size and crop within the selected layout.

Audio

The Audio section contains separate controls for the microphone and presentation audio.

Microphone allows you to select the microphone used for the live stream and adjust its volume.

Presentation Audio allows you to manage the audio from the presentation, including its input and volume.

Controls

The Controls section provides options for managing the live broadcast.

Available controls can include Start Broadcast, Pause, Stream Statistics and Permanently End.

Preview

The Preview feature allows you to view the camera and stream content before or during the live auction. This helps you check what is being displayed to the online audience.

Additional Stream Studio Controls

Stream Studio also includes navigation and display controls.

Exit allows you to leave the Stream Studio workspace.

The Knowledge Hub shortcut provides access to the Auctions Live Knowledge Hub for help and support information.

Light/Dark Mode allows you to change the appearance of the Stream Studio interface.

The Grid shortcut allows you to return to the platform grid and switch between available applications or platforms.
