Launching Multi-Lot Control Panel and Presentation

How to run your Multi-Lot Presentation across dual screens

You can launch and operate the Multi-Lot Control Panel and Presentation from a single device (PC or laptop). To do this, you will need to extend your displays. Your device must include an external display port to connect to the secondary screen. We recommend avoiding screen sharing and wireless technology due to the issues that can arise.

Steps to Launching the Multi-Lot Control Panel and Presentation

Step 1: Log in to the PC Console and go to your Auctions Live Dashboard.

Step 2: From the left-hand menu under Multi-Lot Auctions, select Upcoming Published.

Step 3: Locate the relevant multi-lot auction and click the blue View icon on the right-hand side.

Step 4: On the Presentations View page, select the green Control Panel button within the actions row. Once selected, the Control Panel will launch. Read the caution message and then select Close.

Step 5: Select the green Presentation button in the top right of the page to launch the Presentation Screen. Move it (drag and drop) to your desired location or screen.

Step 6: Select the green Order Board button in the top right of the page to launch the Order of Sale Board. Move it (drag and drop) to your desired location or screen.

Extending Your Display on Windows 11

This method allows you to arrange your monitors and set a main display.

Step 1: Right-click anywhere on your desktop and select Display settings.

Step 2: On the display settings screen, click Identify to see which number corresponds to each physical monitor.

Step 3: In the Multiple displays drop-down menu, select Extend these displays.

Step 4: Drag and drop the numbered monitor boxes to match their physical arrangement on your desk. This ensures mouse movement between screens is intuitive.

Step 5: Click Keep changes to save your settings.

Step 6: Select the monitor you want to be your main display and check Make this my main display so applications and your taskbar appear there by default.

Extending Your Display on Mac

Step 1: Connect your external monitor using the appropriate cable or adapter.

Step 2: Open System Settings (newer macOS versions) or System Preferences (older macOS versions).

Step 3: Click on the option to adjust screen arrangements.

Step 4: In the display settings, you will see representations of your Mac display and the external display. Drag these to match their physical placement on your desk so you can move your mouse and windows smoothly between screens.

Important Note

We recommend setting the external display resolution to 1920x1080 with no zoom.
