Archive Unused Properties with Confidence

Keep listings organised while preserving important property records for reporting and compliance.

The Property Archiving feature allows Office Admins to remove unused or inactive properties from active workflows without permanently deleting them. This helps keep listings organised while preserving property records for audit and administrative purposes.

Understand Property Archiving

Step 1: Go to the Listings page to manage property records.

Step 2: Use the new listing tabs to view properties by status: Assigned for active auction properties, Unassigned for properties not linked to an auction, and Archived for archived properties.

Step 3: Before archiving, ensure the property is eligible. A property can only be archived if it is a test property or has never been assigned to an auction, has no bids recorded, and has no bidder registrations.

Step 4: To archive a property, locate the property in the Unassigned or relevant tab, click Archive, then confirm the action.

Step 5: To restore a property, open the Archived tab, click Unarchive, and confirm the action to return the property to active listings.

Helpful Tip

Archived properties are hidden from auctions, widgets, reports, APIs, and public pages until they are unarchived. Archived properties are not deleted and can be restored at any time by an Office Admin.
