Accessing the Auctions Live API Hub

Access Auctions Live API tools and developer documentation

The Auctions Live API Hub provides authorised developers with access to the tools and documentation required to integrate external systems with Auctions Live.

This process applies specifically to Auctions Live.

The options below are only available when your RE Software user profile has the Developer Role enabled.

Steps to Access the Auctions Live API Hub

Step 1: Log in to the PC Console and ensure you are operating within the Auctions Live ecosystem.

Step 2: From the left hand menu, select Developer Access.

Step 3: The developer menu will expand and display the available Auctions Live integration resources.

The available options include:

  • Developer Access > API Token
  • API Documentation > Properties API which provides access to the Swagger documentation
  • Web Hooks > Event Notifications

Recommended Setup for New Auctions Live Developers

Before commencing an Auctions Live API or webhook integration, review the Properties API Swagger documentation to familiarise yourself with the available API functions, data requirements and integration structure.

We also recommend scheduling a meeting with your RE Software account representative and a senior RE Software developer before commencing development. This allows your team to discuss the intended Auctions Live integration, confirm the required functionality and understand the recommended implementation process.
