Stop Auto Updates from your CRM
Can I stop my listing information and images from being automatically updated from my CRM?
Yes. You can stop automatic updates from your CRM by enabling the Lock Assigned Property Updates setting. This feature gives you control over when listing data can and cannot change after it has been imported into the system.
What does Lock Assigned Property Updates do
When enabled, Lock Assigned Property Updates prevents automatic listing updates from your CRM for newly imported properties. This ensures that listing information and images remain stable unless you choose to update them manually.
Why would I want to stop CRM updates
This feature is particularly useful before an auction or once listing details have been finalised. It helps prevent last minute changes, incorrect updates, or CRM automation from overwriting approved listing information.
What happens when a property is locked
When a property is locked:
- Automatic updates from the CRM are paused for that listing
- Listing information and images remain unchanged
- Manual edits inside the platform are still allowed
Can I still manually edit a locked listing
Yes. Locking a property only affects automatic CRM updates. You can continue to manually edit listing details and images within the system at any time.
How do I know if a property is locked
A lock icon appears in the Source ID or Status column on the Listings page. This icon confirms that CRM updates for the property are currently locked.
Can I unlock a property and resume CRM updates
Yes. Properties can be unlocked individually at any time.
Step 1: Go to the Listings page.
Step 2: Locate the property you want to unlock.
Step 3: Click the lock icon in the Source ID or Status column.
Step 4: Confirm the change to allow CRM updates to resume for that property.
The property can be locked again at any time if required.
How do I turn Lock Assigned Property Updates on or off
This feature is controlled at a system level.
Step 1: Go to System Settings.
Step 2: Select the Integrations tab.
Step 3: Locate Lock Assigned Property Updates.
Step 4: Toggle the setting On or Off.
What happens if the feature is turned off
When the feature is disabled, all imported properties continue to receive automatic updates from the CRM and no listings are locked by default.
When should I use this feature
This feature is best used:
- Before an auction to avoid last minute listing changes
- After listing details have been approved and finalised
- When you want to prevent CRM automation from overwriting important listing information
Key things to remember
- The lock only affects automatic CRM updates
- Manual edits inside the platform are always allowed
- Each property can be unlocked individually even when the feature is enabled globally
- The lock status is always visible on the Listings page via the lock icon
