How do I select, adjust and manage microphone audio?
Stream Studio allows you to select the microphone via dropdown menu used for your live auction and adjust its volume. If multiple microphones are connected to the computer, you can choose the microphone you want to use.
Select and Adjust Your Microphone
Step 1: Locate the Microphone section in Stream Studio.
Step 2: Select the microphone you want to use from the available devices.
Step 3: If multiple microphones are connected, select the microphone that best captures the auctioneer’s voice from the Microphone dropdown menu.
Step 4: Adjust the Volume control to set the microphone audio level.
Step 5: Check the microphone settings before starting the broadcast to make sure the selected microphone and volume are correct.
Note:
You can mute the microphone from Stream Studio and the Control Panel. We recommend using a microphone with an ON/OFF switch, as this allows the auctioneer to easily manage the microphone when required.
Helpful Tip
Connect your microphone to the computer before opening Stream Studio. If the microphone is being used by another application, it may not be available for Stream Studio. If using wireless microphone please ensure the receiver is plugged in the computer and powered on.
