Stream Studio allows you to pause the live auction stream when required and resume it when you are ready to continue. When the stream is paused, the configured pause screen is displayed to the online audience and the microphone is automatically muted.

Pause and Resume the Stream

Step 1: Start the live stream by selecting Start Broadcasting from the Stream Studio controls when the auction is ready.

Step 2: When you need to pause the stream, select Pause from either the Control Panel or Stream Studio.

Step 3: The live stream will pause and the configured pause screen will be displayed to the online audience.

Step 4: While the stream is paused, the microphone is automatically muted.

Step 5: When you are ready to continue the live stream, select Resume from either the Control Panel or Stream Studio.

Step 6: Confirm the live stream has resumed and continue managing the auction as required.

Helpful Tip

Check that the required pause screen has been configured before the auction. Use the Pause control during breaks between lots or whenever the online audience should not see the live auction. The microphone is automatically muted while the stream is paused.
