Enable Electronic Bidder Registration

Allow buyers to register before your property auction begins

Electronic Bidder Registration allows buyers to register for an auction before the auction begins. Once enabled for a property, Auctions Live generates a unique bidder registration link and QR code that can be shared with prospective bidders.

Steps to Enable Electronic Bidder Registration

Step 1: Log in to the PC Console and navigate to your Auctions Live Dashboard.

Step 2: From the left hand menu, select All Upcoming.

Step 3: Locate the property where you want to enable bidder registration, then click the Edit icon on the right side of the listing. This opens the property Edit page.

Step 4: Scroll below the property address field to locate the available Bidding Methods.

The following bidder registration methods are available:

1. In Person Bidding which is recommended for buyers attending the auction in person.

2. Bidding via Telephone for buyers who will participate by telephone.

3. Auctions Live Online Bidding for buyers who will participate online through Auctions Live.

Step 5: Enable at least one required bidding method.

Step 6: Scroll to the top or bottom of the page and click the green Update button to save your changes.

Once enabled, a unique bidder registration link becomes available for the property. Buyers can use this link to pre register for the auction from the property widget page.

A printable bidder registration QR code is also available and can be displayed at open homes or other property marketing activities. Buyers can scan the QR code with their mobile device to access the registration form.

Additional Bidding Options

Video Conferencing and Phone Bidding via an Agency Representative may also be available for the property when the relevant account settings have been enabled.

Enable Electronic Bidder Registration for CRM Imports

Electronic Bidder Registration can also be enabled automatically when properties are imported into Auctions Live from your connected CRM. This helps ensure the required bidding methods are already available when new properties are created.

Step 1: Go to Settings within the Integration tab.

Step 2: Locate the Property Sync Settings section.

Step 3: Review and update the default bidder registration settings that should apply when properties are imported from your CRM.

Open Integration Settings

Important Note

If your office operates under a corporate or head office account that is linked to multiple office accounts, the Property Sync Settings may need to be configured separately for each office account.

If you cannot access the required settings, contact your Auctions Live account representative to confirm that the appropriate permissions are enabled for your user profile.
