Maintain Bidding History Without Changing the Sale

Add eligible bidding activity before the Sold record while protecting the final auction outcome.

Additional safeguards apply when a listing contains a Sold record. You can maintain eligible bidding activity before the sale while the final auction result remains protected.

Manage Records Before the Sale

Step 1: Log in to the PC Console and navigate to your Auctions Live Dashboard.

Step 2: From the menu on the left side, select All Upcoming / All Past.

Step 3: Locate the relevant listing and click the blue View icon on the right-hand side.

Step 4: Within the Listing View page, go to the Quick Stats tab and click on Edit Bid Records.

Step 5: Locate the Sold record within the bidding history.

Step 6: Add eligible manual bid records before the Sold record where required and where the applicable validation rules are met.

Step 7: Check that each new record remains in the correct chronological position and that bid amounts increase progressively.

Understand Sold Record Protection

Step 8: Do not attempt to delete or move the Sold record, as the Sold record is protected.

Step 9: Do not add bid records below the Sold record, as new records cannot be added after the sale.

Helpful Tip

Make sure any additional manual bidding activity is entered before the Sold record. The Sold record represents the protected final auction result.
