Onsite Auction - Getting Started

Step-by-step guide for running a live auction at the property

An Onsite auction is a real estate auction conducted at the actual property being sold. This allows potential buyers to inspect and bid on the property at the location itself, rather than at a separate venue.

Getting Started with an Onsite Auction

To configure a property as an Onsite auction in Auctions Live, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Assigning & Publishing an Onsite Auction

Step 2: Electronic Bidder Registration

Step 3: Create a Live Stream Key for Onsite Auctions

Step 4: Broadcasting Your Onsite Auction

Step 5: Accessing the Electronic Scriber via the Mobile Console App

Scheduling & Publishing

This step is typically handled by your office administration team using the Auctions Live PC Console.

Bidder Registration (Optional)

If enabled, bidders can register their intent to bid before the auction by clicking the Register to Bid button on your company’s website or by scanning the QR code available onsite on auction day.

Auction Day – Stream & Scribe

For a smooth onsite auction, the following equipment and setup is required:

  • 1x Smartphone with the Mobile Console App and Broadcaster App installed - used as the live auction camera
  • 1x iPad or Tablet with the Mobile Console App installed — used as the electronic scribing device
  • 1x Tripod with phone holder - used to hold the smartphone steady during streaming

Tip

Ensure all devices are fully charged and connected to a stable internet connection before the auction begins. It's recommended to test your setup 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
