Introduction

A quick guide office administrators

When integrating your Google Calendar, we recommend using a Corporate Google account rather than a personal one. This ensures your organisation can manage permissions, apply security controls, and maintain compliance. Administrators working in a controlled environment should review the sharing settings for the domain before enabling public visibility.

For administrator guidance on external sharing, see Google Admin Help: Allow or Restrict External Sharing.

Steps to Make Your Google Calendar Public

Step 1: Open Google Calendar.

Step 2: In the top right, click the Gear icon and select Settings.

Step 3: In the left panel under Settings for my calendars, click the calendar name you want to modify.

Step 4: Click Access permissions for events.

Step 5: Tick Make available to public. This lets anyone view your calendar events.

Step 6: Review the confirmation message that appears: Making your calendar public will make all events visible to the world, including via Google Search. Are you sure?

Step 7: Click OK to confirm.

Important Note

Public calendars can be viewed by anyone. If your organisation restricts external sharing, your administrator may need to adjust domain settings before you can make a calendar public.
