The Stream Only option allows you to broadcast an auction live without enabling bidder registration, online bidding or electronic scribing. It is a simple way to maximise exposure by streaming the auction to your website and sharing a live viewing link with clients.

Set a Property to Stream Only

Step 1: Log in to the Auctions Live PC Console.

Step 2: From the left-hand menu, select All Upcoming.

Step 3: Click the View (eye) icon on the property.

Step 4: In the Auction Type section, click Assign and select Stream Only from the dropdown.

Step 5: Confirm the Auction Start Date & Time.

Step 6: Set the status to Published.

Step 7: Click Assign to confirm your selection.

Step 8: Click the green Create Live Stream button to generate your stream key.

How Stream Only Works

The property will be added to your website widget and a unique viewing URL will be created for sharing with clients.

Once the livestream ends, agents and auctioneers will be prompted to capture basic post-auction data.

This option does not support bidder registration or electronic bid capture during the auction.

Helpful Tip

Use Stream Only when you want maximum reach without the complexity of managing online bidders. It works well for smaller auctions or when you are already running the bidding process offline.
