You can add eligible manual bid records directly from the Bid Records page. This allows you to maintain the auction bidding history while protecting system-generated online bidding activity.

Add a Manual Bid Record

Step 1: Log in to the PC Console and navigate to your Auctions Live Dashboard.

Step 2: From the menu on the left side, select All Upcoming / All Past.

Step 3: Locate the relevant listing and click the blue View icon on the right-hand side.

Step 4: Within the Listing View page, go to the Quick Stats tab and access Bid Records.

Step 5: Click Edit Bid Records. This will open the Edit Bid Records page, where you can view the total records, opening bid, highest bid and property status.

Step 6: Click Edit Bid Records to add or update a manual bid record.

Step 7: Enter the required bid details, including the Bid Amount, Bidder Number, Call Sign and Status.

Step 8: If permitted, enter or update the date and time for the manual bid record.

Step 9: Check that the new record is positioned correctly within the bidding history and that the bid amount follows the required bidding sequence.

Step 10: Click Update at the bottom right. A confirmation message will appear asking, "Update the bid history? The bid records will be updated for this listing." Click Yes, Update the Records to confirm.

Manual records must meet the applicable validation rules. Bid amounts must be greater than zero and increase progressively through the bidding history. Bidder numbers must be numerical, and online bidder numbers cannot be used when creating manual bid records.

Helpful Tip

Manual records can be added before or after existing online bids where permitted. Online bid records remain protected and cannot be edited or deleted.
