Using the Multi-Lot Auction Control Panel Guide
Step-by-step guide to running smooth multi-lot auctions
The Multi-Lot Auction Control Panel lets you manage the flow of a live auction, synchronising the Presentation and Order Board screens while tracking bids and displaying call signs. The steps below provide a basic guide on how to use it effectively.
Steps to Using the Multi-Lot Auction Control Panel
Step 1: Once you have launched the Control Panel and moved the Presentation and Order Board screens to their required locations, select the red Intro Loop button. This will automatically sync all screens.
Step 2: When the Auctioneer begins their introduction, select the purple Auction Terms button.
Step 3: When the Auctioneer introduces the Prescribed Auction Terms and Conditions, use the blue Next button to navigate through the slides. Continue until the Next button deactivates (it will appear light blue).
Step 4: When the Auctioneer announces the lot address, select it from the list, then click the green Go To Property Intro button.
Step 5: The first slide displayed on the Presentation Screen will always be the Holding Slide.
Step 6: Continue selecting the blue Next button to display the lot photos or play the lot video if available. Once you reach the final slide, the Next button will deactivate (light blue).
Step 7: When ready, select the green Go To Property Bid Page button. The Bid Panel in the Control Panel will activate, and the Presentation Screen will move to the Interactive Bid Slide.
Step 8: As bids are placed, they can be keyed in manually or using the Bid Buttons, followed by pressing either the Space Bar on your keyboard or the green > button.
Step 9: If bidders have been registered electronically, their Bidder Numbers will appear automatically. You also have the option to allocate a bidder number to a bid.
Step 10: Multiple call signs are built into the Control Panel. By selecting a call sign, it will be displayed on the Presentation Screen.
Step 11: Select the More button to access additional call signs or to free type your own.
Step 12: If live streaming the Multi-Lot Auction to your company website, select the blue Live Stream button within the Control Panel. This lets you pause or resume the stream, check the live status and number of viewers, or end the stream.
Step 13: Repeat Steps 4 to 8 for each lot in the auction.
Step 14: At the conclusion of the auction, select the Go To Outro Loop button so the Presentation Screen will display all auction results.
Step 15: If live streaming, ensure you end the stream by selecting the blue Live Stream button, followed by End.
Important Note
Always ensure that the Presentation Screen and Control Panel remain in sync. This ensures a seamless experience for both the Auctioneer and the audience, whether onsite, online, or via live streaming.
