Creating and Managing Auction Venues
How to create, archive, and delete Auction Venues in Auctions Live
This guide explains how to create, archive, and delete Auction Venues in Auctions Live.
Steps to Create an Auction Venue
Step 1: Log in to the PC Console and go to your Auctions Live Dashboard.
Step 2: From the left-hand menu, select Auction Venues.
Step 3: On the Auction Venues page, click the green +New Venue button in the top-right corner.
Step 4: Complete the form fields. It is recommended to upload an image of the venue if you intend to use Auctions Live’s Electronic Interested Party Form. For setup details, see the guide at Interested Party Form Setup.
Step 5: Once finished, click the green Update button.
Steps to Archive an Auction Venue
Step 1: Log in to the PC Console and go to your Auctions Live Dashboard.
Step 2: From the left-hand menu, select Auction Venues.
Step 3: On the Auction Venues page, click the yellow Archive button under the Actions column for the venue you want to archive.
Step 4: Confirm the action in the pop-up modal.
Step 5: Once confirmed, the venue will be archived.
Steps to Delete an Auction Venue
Step 1: Log in to the PC Console and go to your Auctions Live Dashboard.
Step 2: From the left-hand menu, select Auction Venues.
Step 3: On the Auction Venues page, click the red Delete button under the Actions column for the venue you want to delete. If the button is muted, the venue cannot be deleted because it has been assigned to a multi-lot auction.
Step 4: Confirm the action in the pop-up modal.
Step 5: Once confirmed, the venue will be deleted.
