Enabling the Associate Agent Role Feature
Allow internal assistants to help with bidder registration and scribing
The Associate feature allows agencies to assign internal assistants such as Personal Assistants (PAs) or Executive Assistants (EAs) to help manage a listing. These associates can assist with bidder registration and auction scribing. Their details will not be displayed on any public-facing interface.
Steps to Enable the Associate Role Feature
Step 1: Log in to the PC Console.
Step 2: Click the Gear icon in the top-right corner.
Step 3: From the System Settings page, select the Advanced tab.
Step 4: Scroll down to the System Defaults section and locate the Selling Agent Associate feature option.
Step 5: Click Enable to turn this feature on.
Step 6: Scroll up or down and click Update. A confirmation message will appear.
Important Note
This setting is not available for Corporate or Auction House account types.
Steps to Manage Associate Email Notifications
Step 1: After enabling the feature, scroll down to the Notification Settings section and locate the Associate Selling Agent Email Notifications option.
Step 2: Select the number of Associates you wish to notify (default is one). Choose None to disable notifications.
Step 3: Scroll up or down and click Update. A confirmation message will appear.
Tip
This notification setting only works if the Associate feature is enabled. It allows you to choose how many associate agents receive bidder registration notifications.
