Choose Your Authority to Bid Flow
Use PDF upload or digital signing for Authority to Bid
The Auctions Live Electronic Bidder Registration process offers two available options for managing the Authority to Bid workflow.
By default, accounts are set with the Authority to Bid flow as None. This setting can be updated at any time to suit your agency's preferred process.
The two options available include:
- Upload PDF: Upload your own custom Authority to Bid form in PDF format. Bidders will be required to download the document, complete it with the buyer, and then upload the signed copy during the registration process.
- Electronically Managed: Use the Auctions Live built-in electronic flow. After a bidder submits their registration, the buyer will be prompted to confirm the details, upload identification, and electronically sign the Authority to Bid form.
Important
Before enabling the Electronically Managed workflow option, ensure that it complies with all relevant legislative requirements in your country, state, or territory. RE Software does not provide legal advice and takes no responsibility for verifying compliance. Use of this feature is at your own discretion.
