Uploading a Property / Seller Disclosure Statement to a Listing

Let buyers access important documents before the auction

You can upload a Property / Seller Disclosure Statement to any listing. This allows bidders to view or download the document, depending on its privacy settings. There are two privacy options: Private and Public.

Steps to Upload a Property / Seller Disclosure Statement

Step 1: Log into the PC Console and navigate to your Auctions Live Dashboard.

Step 2: From the left-hand menu, select All Upcoming.

Step 3: Select the blue Edit icon on the right-hand side of the relevant property.

Step 4: Scroll down to locate the Documents section.

Step 5: Click the Add Document button.

Step 6: In the Display Name field, enter the name you want to appear publicly.

Step 7: From the Display Icon dropdown, select an appropriate icon.

Step 8: From the Document Type dropdown, select Property Disclosure Statement.

Step 9: Click the blue Upload File button to upload the document from your computer. Click Preview File to confirm the correct document has been uploaded.

Option 1 – Upload as a Private Document

Step 10: Under Document Privacy, select Private.

Step 11: Under Include in Registration Emails, select Yes or No.

Step 12: Add another document or click Update to save.

Option 2 – Upload as a Public Document

Step 13: Under Document Privacy, select Public.

Step 14: Under Show on Registration Page, select Show or Hide.

Step 13: Under Show on Widget, select Show or Hide.

Step 15: Under Include in Registration Emails, select Yes or No.

Step 16: Add another document or click Update to save.

Private Documents

Only accessible to buyers logged into their RE Software Bid Buy profile.

Include in Registration Emails

When enabled, documents are included as downloadable links in emails sent to buyers. The privacy setting does not affect this option.

Public Documents

Available to anyone. No login is required to view or download.

Show on Registration Page

When enabled, the document is visible on the Bidder Registration form. Access is still controlled by the privacy setting.

Show on Widget

When enabled, the document is accessible on the subscriber’s hosted widget. Access is still controlled by the privacy setting.
