Tender Campaign Setup in Offers Live
How to configure non-conditional offers for Tenders
When setting up a new campaign type in Offers Live specifically for Tender-style sales, particularly where buyers (including individuals, companies, trusts or superfunds) are expected to submit non-conditional offers, we recommend following the guidelines below. These recommendations help agents capture the right information and streamline the vendor's decision-making process. Please note that each subscriber is ultimately responsible for configuring their campaigns in line with local legislative requirements.
Default Offer Question Settings
To support the tender process, the following default offer questions are suggested to be set to Show:
- Question 2: Has the property been inspected in person?
- Question 3: Has a Solicitor or Conveyancer reviewed the Contract of Sale?
- Question 4: Has any documentation relating to the property such as building, strata or pest reports been provided?
- Question 7: Is vacant possession required at settlement? (Optional)
Offer Conduct Guidelines
In the Offer Conduct Guidelines field, agents should clearly outline their office’s protocol for managing Tender campaigns. This section is your opportunity to communicate expectations and reinforce that non-conditional offers are required.
Additional Offer Questions
To ensure transparency and formality, we recommend adding the following custom question:
- Question Type: Upload Signed Contract of Sale
- Answer Type: File Upload
- Make Required: Yes
This ensures all submitted offers are backed by an executed contract, helping vendors review offers with full confidence.
A Final Note on Responsibility
These guidelines are general in nature and have not been tailored to specific legal or financial entities. Each Offers Live subscriber is responsible for ensuring their Tender campaign setup complies with relevant local laws and agency policy.
If in doubt, always consult with your compliance manager or legal representative before publishing a new campaign.
