Updating Your Bidder Registration Information
Why a new registration form is required for updates
If you need to amend or update your bidder registration details before an auction, it’s important to understand why we require a new registration form to be submitted rather than allowing direct edits to your existing registration.
Why Is a New Form Required?
When you submit your first electronic bidder registration form, a Bid Buy User Profile is automatically created. This profile securely stores your information, allowing for a more seamless registration process in future auctions by automatically populating new forms with your details.
However, similar to a formal handwritten registration, any changes to your details require a new form to be completed. This is because the initial registration was approved based on the information provided at that time. Allowing direct modifications could create discrepancies between what was originally verified and what is now being updated.
How to Update Your Registration Details
If you need to update your bidder registration before an auction:
- Access the Bidder Registration Form: Open the registration form and log in.
- Load Your Existing Profile: Your previously saved details will automatically populate the form.
- Make the Necessary Changes: Update any fields as required, ensuring accuracy.
- Resubmit the Form: Once submitted, the real estate agency will review the updated information.
- Agency Approval: The agency will then cancel your previous registration and approve your new submission based on the updated details.
Additional Recommendations
Before proceeding with a new registration, we advise reaching out to the real estate agency managing the auction to inform them of the required changes. This ensures a smoother process and minimizes potential delays in re-approval.
By following this process, we maintain the integrity and accuracy of bidder registrations, ensuring compliance with verification standards and auction regulations. If you have any further questions or require assistance, please contact the relevant real estate agency or our support team.
