REINSW 2026 Auctioneering Excellence
A showcase of skill, precision, and future leaders
A Showcase of Australia’s Auctioneering Talent
The 2026 REINSW Senior Auctioneering Competition delivered an impressive display of technical skill, presence, and professionalism across two standout days in Sydney.
Held on the 14th and 15th of April at Hub Martin Place, the event brought together some of New South Wales’ most capable auctioneers, all competing for the opportunity to represent the state on the national and international stage.
For those in the room, and those watching online, it was a clear reminder of just how much discipline, control, and precision sits behind every successful auction call.
Where Skill Meets Pressure
Auctioneering at this level is not just about speed or confidence. It is about control under pressure, clarity in communication, and the ability to read a room in real time.
Each competitor demonstrated their own style, but what stood out most was the consistency in structure and delivery. Every call carried intent. Every pause had purpose.
As the official technology partner, RE Software captured the full series of calls in high definition, ensuring these performances can be revisited, analysed, and learned from by the wider industry.

Representing New South Wales at the AUSTROS
Earning the opportunity to represent New South Wales at the AUSTROS is no small achievement.
This year, Emanuel Comino and Clarence White will carry that responsibility forward, stepping onto a larger stage where the standard only continues to rise.
Their progression reflects not just individual talent, but the strength of auctioneering across the state.
Recognising the Next Generation
Equally important was the Novice Final, where emerging talent showed that the future of auctioneering remains in strong hands.
Rebecca Shepheard, Panal Boustani, and Harrison Double delivered performances that reflected both potential and professionalism.
Panal Boustani will now go on to represent New South Wales at the AUSTROS in the novice category, continuing the pathway from development to elite competition.
Why These Events Matter
Competitions like this play a critical role in lifting the standard of auctioneering across the industry.
They create an environment where skill is tested, feedback is immediate, and improvement is constant.
More importantly, they reinforce the importance of structure and discipline in a profession that often operates in high pressure, high value environments.
“When you watch auctioneers perform at this level, you realise it is not just about calling bids. It is about control, transparency, and creating an environment where buyers feel confident to act. That is what drives real competition.”
Anthony Nounnis, Director of RE Software
Bringing the Industry Closer to the Action
Through platforms like Auctions Live, moments like these extend far beyond the room.
Capturing and sharing high quality auction content allows agents, principals, and future auctioneers to learn from real scenarios, not just theory.
It also reinforces a broader shift within the industry. Transparency and accessibility are no longer optional. They are expected.
Events like the REINSW Auctioneering Competition are not just about recognising talent. They are about setting the benchmark for how auctions should be conducted, experienced, and understood in a modern market.
