Release Notes: A.1.9.a
Planned Deployment Date: 1 September 2025
Reserve Letter Feature and Enhancements ✅
We are pleased to announce an upcoming series of new features and enhancements to the Reserve Letter process, designed to improve transparency, usability, and accountability for all stakeholders.
Key Updates
- Secondary Vendor Decline Capability: Secondary vendors can now decline a reserve letter that has been completed and signed by the primary vendor. A dedicated text field is provided to capture the reason for declining. Once declined, the reserve letter is automatically invalidated and cannot be re-activated. Agents are given the option to request a new reserve letter directly from the platform. Primary vendors will receive an automated email notification when a letter is declined, including the reason provided.
- Vendor Information Labels: Vendor labels are now displayed beneath each vendor’s name, showing their email address and phone number. If a vendor is represented by a Power of Attorney, the representative’s name will be displayed with a statement confirming that they are acting on behalf of the vendor.
- Reserve Letter Activity Icons: An exclamation mark in a yellow circle indicates that a vendor’s signature is pending. A cross in a red circle indicates that a vendor has declined the letter.
- Redesigned Reserve Letter Layout: The Reserve Price and Vendor Bid fields are now displayed in a dedicated section above the reserve letter text for improved visibility. The Primary Vendor can now include or exclude the Vendor Bid from the letter, based on visibility settings set by the agent.
- Vendor Verification Code Resend Restriction: Vendors may now resend a verification code only after 10 minutes, ensuring greater security and reducing unnecessary requests for accessing a reserve letter.
Video Conference Tab on a Property Widget Page ✅
We are excited to announce the introduction of a Video Conference tab on the Property Widget page, designed to simplify and centralise access to property-related virtual meetings.
Feature Highlights
- Dedicated Video Conference Tab: A new tab has been added to the property widget page, providing a single view of all video conferences associated with that property.
- Quick Join Links: Users can click on the links to directly join video conferences created by the agent for the property.
- Improved Collaboration: This feature ensures all property stakeholders have easy and immediate access to scheduled virtual meetings, improving communication and efficiency.
Key Benefits
- Centralised Access: All video conferences for a property are now visible in one location.
- Time-Saving: Users can join meetings directly from the property widget without searching through emails or calendars.
- Enhanced Collaboration: Streamlines communication between agents, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Live Stream and Video Conference Icons on Property and Presentation Listings
We are excited to introduce an upcoming visual enhancement that improves visibility and accessibility of live stream and video conference activities directly from property and presentation listing pages.
Feature Highlights
- New Icons in Live Stream Column: Live stream and video conference icons have been added to the Property Listing and Presentation Listing pages.
- Status Differentiation by Colour: Icons now use colour coding to indicate status:
- Grey – Disabled
- Blue – Enabled
- Quick Identification: Users can easily see which properties or presentations have active live streams or video conferences at a glance.
- Clickable Icons: Users can click the icons to directly join or access the associated live stream or video conference.
Listing Assignment Rules Update ✅
To improve clarity around when listings are assigned within Auctions Live, several default restrictions have been introduced. These changes ensure that agencies assign listings correctly before accessing features that rely on the listing being linked to an auction. This helps prevent workflow errors, miscommunication, and incomplete data being pushed through to both agents and buyers.
Listing Status Updates
A listing’s status can only be updated once it has been assigned an Auction Type. This prevents properties from being prematurely marked as live, in progress, or completed before they are properly linked to an auction event.
Electronic Bidder Registration
Subscribers will not be able to access or use Electronic Bidder Registration until the listing has been assigned an Auction Type. This ensures that all bidder registration activity is tied to a correctly configured auction, maintaining compliance, data integrity, and accurate reporting.
Summary
These measures have been implemented to standardise how listings progress through Auctions Live, reduce the risk of operational errors, and support agencies in delivering a smoother experience for both vendors and buyers.
