Completing a Vendor Reserve Letter
Step-by-step guide to setting and verifying your reserve price
Your selling agent may request you to complete and sign a digital Vendor Reserve Letter via Auctions Live. This is a simple process, and the following steps will guide you through it.
Please note that if there is more than one vendor (seller) listed on the contract of sale, the primary vendor is responsible for setting the reserve price and submitting the digital form. Once submitted, any additional vendors attached to the listing will receive an email requiring them to review and confirm the reserve price. They can either accept or decline. When accepting, additional vendors must also sign the written reserve and submit the form.
Steps for the Primary Vendor
Step 1: The primary vendor will receive an email with the subject line Action Required: Set Your Reserve Price.
Step 2: Select the blue Set Reserve Price button in the email.
Step 3: You will be directed to a page. Select the blue Request Verification Code button.
Step 4: A verification code will be emailed to you. Copy and paste this code into the page opened in Step 3, then select the blue Verify Code button.
Step 5: Once the code is verified, the Auction Reserve Letter will be displayed.
Step 6: Enter the reserve price in the field provided and complete any other required fields.
