Editing Cooling-Off Period
How to update it for an individual property
The Cooling-Off Period is a designated timeframe that allows buyers to withdraw from an accepted offer, in accordance with your agency's procedures or state legislation. If needed, this setting can be updated on a per-property basis.
Steps to Editing Cooling-Off Period
Step 1: Log into the PC Console and navigate to your Offers Live Dashboard.
Step 2: Click All under Campaigns in the left-hand menu.
Step 3: Locate the relevant property and click the View icon.
Step 4: Scroll down to the Cooling-Off Period section and click Edit.
Step 5: Enter the new value for the Cooling-Off Period (in days).
- Example: Enter “3” to set a 3-day Cooling-Off Period.
Step 6: Click Update to save your changes.
Tip: If your office manages properties across multiple states, ensure the Cooling-Off Period complies with each state’s legal requirements.
