Bidder Registration Submission Page Enhancements

We have redesigned the Bidder Registration Confirmation Page to provide bidders with a cleaner, more useful experience after completing their registration.

The redesigned page uses a modern stacked card layout, with each card focused on a specific part of the bidder journey. This makes information easier to follow while giving bidders quick access to the resources and actions they may need before the auction.

A Clearer Registration Confirmation

Once a bidder successfully submits their registration, they will see a Thank You message confirming their pre-registration for the upcoming auction.

Below this confirmation, the subscribers custom bidder submission message will be displayed, giving subscribers an opportunity to provide their own information, instructions or next steps to bidders.

Online Bidding Information and Resources

For bidders who have selected Online Bidding, the submission page now provides quick access to useful information and resources to help them prepare for the auction.

Two resource cards are displayed side by side:

  • How to Watch & Bid on an Auction: Provides information explaining how bidders can watch and participate in an auction.
  • Download Bid Buy App: Provides direct access to download the Bid Buy app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

An Important Note section is displayed beneath these cards to highlight key information bidders should be aware of before participating.

The page also includes a dedicated Online Bidding Video Tutorial card, allowing bidders to familiarise themselves with the online bidding process before auction day.

Easily Register for Other Lots

For Multi-Lot Auctions, bidders can now view other listings included within the same auction directly from the registration confirmation page.

The new interactive listings card allows bidders to:

  • View Listing: Open the selected listing’s widget page to review the property or lot information.
  • Register to Bid: Start the bidder registration process for the selected listing.

This makes it easier for bidders interested in multiple listings to register for additional lots without needing to return to the auction page and search for each listing individually.

Registration Rules for Additional Auction Lots

The registration process for additional lots will vary depending on whether the bidder already has a confirmed Bid Buy account.

  • Existing Auctions Live Bidders: Existing bidders can select Register to Bid against another listing and proceed directly through the registration process without needing to confirm their account again.
  • First-Time Bidders: First-time bidders must confirm their Bid Buy account before registering for another listing. Once their account has been confirmed, they will need to log in to continue with the additional registration. This ensures the bidder has a verified account before registering for further listings.

Pagination for Multi-Lot Auctions

We’ve also introduced pagination to the Multi-Lot Auction listings card, improving usability and performance for auctions containing a larger number of listings.

  • Six Listings Per Page: The Multi-Lot Auction listings card displays up to six listings on each page.
  • Additional Listings: For Multi-Lot Auctions containing more than six listings, bidders can use pagination controls to browse the remaining listings across additional pages.
  • Improved Performance: Pagination helps keep the submission page fast and responsive, particularly for Multi-Lot Auctions containing a large number of listings.
  • Efficient Loading: Only the listings displayed on the current page are loaded, reducing resource usage and improving the overall page experience.

Browse Other Upcoming Listings

The submission page also gives bidders the opportunity to discover other upcoming listings from the agency after completing their registration.

  • Consistent Card Design: Upcoming listings are displayed using the same interactive card-based design used for Multi-Lot Auction listings.
  • Pagination: Listings are displayed across multiple pages, making it easier for bidders to browse a larger number of upcoming listings.
  • Improved Performance: Pagination keeps the submission page clean, responsive and efficient without requiring every upcoming listing to load at once.

A Better Experience After Registration

The redesigned Bidder Registration Confirmation Page provides bidders with more than a simple registration confirmation. It gives them useful information to prepare for the auction, quick access to online bidding resources and an easier way to discover and register for other listings.

The combination of the new card-based design, interactive listings, direct registration options and pagination creates a cleaner and faster experience while making better use of the available page space.
