Enhanced Analytics Reporting for Multi-Lot Auctions

Analytics Reporting has been enhanced to provide subscribers with greater flexibility and more detailed insights into Multi-Lot Auction sessions.

Subscribers can now review session activity, listing outcomes, duration and venue performance through a consolidated set of metrics, filters and visualisations.

Multi-Lot Auction Session Reporting

Subscribers can now generate results specifically for Multi-Lot Auction sessions, making it easier to review activity across multiple listings within each session.

Venue and Auctioneer filters can be applied to focus on the sessions most relevant to the required review.

  • ● Filter by Venue: View sessions associated with a selected venue.
  • ● Filter by Auctioneer: Focus results on sessions conducted by a selected auctioneer.

Flexible Listing Visibility

Subscribers can choose whether hidden listings associated with a Multi-Lot Auction session are included.

  • ● Include Hidden Listings: Includes hidden listings associated with the selected sessions.
  • ● Exclude Hidden Listings: Removes hidden listings from the results.

When hidden listings are included, their total is identified using a ghost icon. This provides a clear visual indication of hidden listing activity while allowing subscribers to understand the complete session data.

Session Performance Overview

A consolidated overview provides key performance metrics across the selected Multi-Lot Auction sessions.

  • ● Total Sessions: The total number of Multi-Lot Auction sessions included.
  • ● Listings Scheduled: The total number of listings scheduled across the selected sessions.
  • ● Sold Under the Hammer: The total number of listings successfully sold under the hammer.
  • ● Overall Clearance Rate: The overall percentage of listings sold across the selected sessions.
  • ● Combined Session Duration: The combined duration of all selected sessions.
  • ● Average Session Duration: The average duration of the selected sessions.
  • ● Median Session Duration: The median duration of the selected sessions.
  • ● Average Time per Listing: The average amount of session time spent per listing.

Together, these metrics provide a clear view of auction activity, listing outcomes and session performance.

Session Duration Tracking

Session start and end times are recorded using activity performed through the Multi-Lot Auction Control Panel, providing a consistent method for calculating duration.

  • ● Session Start Time: Recorded when a subscriber selects either the Lot Intro or Lot Bid page from the Control Panel.
  • ● Session End Time: Recorded when the subscriber selects the Outro Loop after the auction has finished.
  • ● Outro Loop Not Selected: If the Outro Loop is not selected, a separate end time cannot be recorded. In this scenario, the Session Start Time is also recorded as the Session End Time.

Visual Performance Insights

Visualisations provide an at-a-glance comparison of session activity and duration across venues.

  • ● Average Session Duration by Venue: A bar graph comparing the average duration of Multi-Lot Auction sessions across venues.
  • ● Total Sessions by Venue: A bar graph displaying the number of Multi-Lot Auction sessions associated with each venue.

Available Across Corporate and Auction House Structures

Multi-Lot Auction session data can be accessed across supported corporate, office and auction house structures.

  • ● Corporates: Access eligible Multi-Lot Auction sessions within the corporate structure.
  • ● Linked Offices: Access eligible sessions associated with linked offices.
  • ● Auction Houses: Access eligible sessions managed through an Auction House.
  • ● Shared External Corporates: Access supported shared corporate structures where the required hierarchy conditions are met.
  • ● Shared External Auction Houses: Access supported shared Auction House structures.

Corporate Hierarchy Requirement

When accessing data for a Shared External Corporate, the Corporate or Office generating the results must form part of the relevant Corporate Hierarchy.

This ensures access remains limited to the appropriate organisational structures and authorised shared entities.
