Template Preview Workflow Update in Prezo Studio

We have enhanced the existing template preview workflow in Prezo Studio to provide a more complete and reliable testing experience before an auction presentation is used in production.

The updated preview environment allows users to review their presentation using an auction-style control panel that closely reflects the experience and functionality available during a live auction.

Improved Template Preview Experience

The preview functionality remains accessible from the blue Play button located above the configuration panel in Prezo Studio. While the location has not changed, the preview experience has been significantly expanded.

Previously, templates could only be previewed using past presentations, with limited auction controls and interactions available. The enhanced preview now provides a more immersive environment that allows users to test their presentation as though they were preparing for a live auction.

• ● New Browser Tab: The presentation preview opens in a separate browser tab, allowing users to return easily to Prezo Studio once testing is complete.
• ● Live Auction-Style Controls: The preview includes a control panel experience that closely mirrors the environment used during a live auction.
• ● More Accurate Testing: Users can review the presentation layout, functionality and auction interactions before the presentation is used at an event.

Preview and Test Auction Functionality

The enhanced preview environment provides access to a broader range of auction controls, helping users confirm that their presentation is configured and operating as expected.

• ● Place Test Bids: Submit bids within the preview to confirm that bid amounts and presentation updates display correctly.
• ● Test Controls and Interactions: Review how the presentation responds when different auction controls are selected.
• ● Verify Existing Functionality: Confirm that the presentation's existing features, content and configured behaviours continue to operate correctly.
• ● Review the Live Experience: Assess the presentation from the same perspective it will be viewed during an auction.

Presentation Re-sync Required

After making changes to a template, users must re-sync the associated presentation before opening the preview. This ensures the latest template configuration and presentation updates are applied correctly.

Updated Preview Workflow

To review a presentation using the enhanced preview environment:

• ● Step 1: Update the template configuration as required.
• ● Step 2: Re-sync the presentation to apply the latest changes.
• ● Step 3: Click the blue Play button above the configuration panel to open the preview.
• ● Step 4: Review and test the presentation using the Auctions Live-style control panel.
• ● Step 5: Once testing is complete, close the preview tab to return to Prezo Studio.

This update provides a more accurate representation of the live auction experience, helping users thoroughly review and validate their presentation before conducting an auction.
