Phone Bidding via an Agency Representative

We are pleased to introduce Phone Bidding via an Agency Representative, a new bidding option designed to provide greater flexibility and accessibility for buyers participating in auctions.

This enhancement extends the existing Bidder Registration process by allowing registered buyers to nominate phone bidding as their preferred bidding method during registration.

How Phone Bidding Works

When registering for an auction, buyers can now select Phone Bidding via an Agency Representative as their preferred bidding method.

Before the auction, the selling agency will assign a nominated representative who will communicate with the registered buyer by telephone and place bids on their behalf during the live auction.

To provide dedicated representation and avoid conflicts during the auction, the following assignment rules will apply:

• ● Exclusive Representation: Each agency representative can only be assigned to one registered buyer for the duration of the auction.
• ● Complete Contact Details: Only agency representatives with complete contact information can be assigned as telephone bidding representatives.
• ● Profile Requirements: Representatives with incomplete information cannot be selected until the required profile details have been completed.

Automated Buyer Confirmation

Once an agency representative has been assigned, the registered buyer will automatically receive an email confirmation containing:

• ● Representative Name: The name of the agency representative assigned to the buyer.
• ● Contact Information: The representative's relevant contact details.
• ● Bidding Confirmation: Confirmation that the representative will place bids on the buyer's behalf during the auction.

This provides buyers with sufficient time to establish contact with their assigned representative before the auction begins.
