Release Notes: A26.7.c

Deployment Date: 13 July 2026 ✅

Enhanced Developer API & Webhook Capabilities

This release introduces several new capabilities for developers integrating with the Auctions Live platform. These enhancements provide a more secure authentication method, expanded webhook notifications and improved access to bidder information through the API.

Together, these updates make it easier to build secure, real-time integrations with Auctions Live while providing richer access to bidder data and event notifications.

OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials Authentication

Developers can now authenticate using the industry-standard OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials Grant, providing a more secure and scalable method of accessing the Auctions Live API.

  • Industry Standard Authentication: Authenticate using OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials rather than relying on static API tokens.
  • Temporary Access Tokens: Access tokens generated using this authentication flow remain valid for 15 minutes, providing improved security for API integrations.
  • Designed for Server-to-Server Integrations: Ideal for securely integrating external applications and enterprise systems with Auctions Live.

Property Bidder Updated Webhook

A new webhook event has been introduced to notify connected applications whenever bidder information is updated against a property.

  • Real-Time Notifications: Receive immediate notification whenever a bidder's registration details are updated.
  • Improved Automation: Allows external CRM, marketing and business systems to automatically respond to bidder changes without polling the API.

New Bidder API Endpoint

A new API endpoint has been added to the Properties API, allowing developers to retrieve all registered bidders for a property through a single request.

  • New Endpoint: /v4/properties/{id}/bidders
  • Complete Bidder Information: Returns all registered bidders associated with the selected property.
  • Optional Questions Included: The API response now includes all optional registration questions and the answers submitted by each bidder.
