Enhancements
This release introduces improvements to both the Auctions Live website widget and Reggie, our AI-powered chatbot, helping deliver a smoother and more engaging experience for website visitors.
- ● Reggie the Chatbot: Following the completion of a conversation, website visitors will now receive a prompt inviting them to start a new conversation. This enhancement helps improve user engagement and ensures visitors can quickly continue seeking assistance or information without needing to manually restart the chat experience. (Reference: IR25-280)
- ● Widget Caching Optimisation: Enhancements have been made to the internal caching processes used for the Order of Sale within Multi-Lot Auction events displayed on the website widget. (Reference: IR25-BC01)
- ● Improved Order of Sale Accuracy: The updated caching methodology helps ensure Order of Sale information is refreshed more efficiently, providing a more reliable and consistent experience for online viewers following Multi-Lot Auction events.
- ● Enhanced Widget Performance: These optimisations contribute to improved responsiveness and overall performance when displaying large auction events and navigating between lots.
Other Updates
- ● Terminology Update – "Property" to "Lot": There are numerous references to the words Property and Properties throughout the platform. Over the coming months, selected references will be updated to Lot and Lots to improve consistency across the Auctions Live ecosystem. These terminology updates will not affect functionality or public-facing user experiences.
