Timed Auction Enhancements

We’re pleased to introduce a range of enhancements designed to improve communication, bidder engagement, and the overall experience throughout the timed auction lifecycle.

Timed Auction Notifications

A series of automated notifications have been introduced to help Auctioneers, Selling Agents, and Bidders stay informed and better prepared throughout the auction process.

• ● Auction Commencement Reminder: An automated email and notification will now be sent one week before a timed auction begins, providing participants with additional time to prepare.
• ● Auction Closing Reminder: Participants will receive a notification two days before the auction concludes, helping ensure important deadlines are not missed.
• ● Final Three-Hour Alert: Email and push notifications will now be triggered three hours before the auction closes, providing a final opportunity for bidders to participate before bidding ends.

These enhancements improve engagement and ensure all stakeholders remain informed at key stages of the auction lifecycle.

Timed Auction Property Widget Enhancements

Several usability and presentation improvements have been introduced to the Timed Auction Property Widget experience.

• ● Background Music Experience: When the Photo Gallery tab is selected, background music will now play automatically until the Live Stream tab is opened or the auction concludes.
• ● Updated Countdown Terminology: The phrase “Ends in” has been replaced with “Concluding in” across the Property Widget page, Tile Widget page, and Live Bid Board for improved consistency.
• ● Redesigned Countdown Timer: The countdown timer displayed on the Property Widget page has been refreshed with an improved visual design.
• ● Closing Soon Messaging: A dynamic message now appears when 15 minutes remain, displaying “Closing soon: fifteen minutes remaining.” The message automatically disappears once the auction has concluded.

Solicitor Field Enhancements

Updates have been made to solicitor information fields within both Bidder Registration and Buyer Registration forms to provide greater flexibility and improved validation.

• ● Bidder Registration Settings Integration: The visibility and requirement status of solicitor fields are now controlled directly through Bidder Registration settings.
• ● Required Field Validation: When solicitor fields are configured as both visible and mandatory, bidders must complete all required solicitor details before submitting their registration.
• ● Optional Solicitor Details: When solicitor information is not configured as mandatory, users can continue through the registration process without entering solicitor details.

Buyer Registration Form Behaviour

• ● Conditional Validation: If a user elects to complete the solicitor section, all associated solicitor fields must be completed before proceeding.
• ● Optional Participation: If the solicitor section is not selected, the registration process can continue without requiring solicitor information.
