This is written in relation to the user experience with the Auctions Live platform by Harcourts Coromandel Beaches Realty with auctions at Whitianga, Cooks Beach, Hahei, Hot Water Beach, Tairua, Whitianga and Coromandel Town. I have deliberately named the individual areas on the Coromandel Peninsula, which is located to the East of Auckland and extends a significant distance out into the Hauraki Gulf, in order to give the reader an idea of the distances involved, and the geographic remoteness of some of the locations where we have held onsite auctions.
Our overall experience of the platform has been overwhelmingly positive, and we have had some resounding successes with onsite auctions- which our competitors have mostly not been doing- in these locations. It has provided us with a significant point of difference and competitive advantage over the rival agencies which has translated into a real lift in productivity for the Tairua office in particular.
The online registration and bidding side of the platform has proven itself to be robust, effective and reliable. We held a number of onsite auctions where we had in person, phone and online bidders all competing vigorously on properties, and the process was able to be managed seamlessly.
I also cannot say enough about the exceptional support we have enjoyed from Nathan Portelli and his team- even to the extent of being able to get him on the phone from Australia in real-time when we have called on a Saturday afternoon from New Zealand. All enquiries are responded to promptly, training and guidance are provided generously and in a timely fashion, and every assistance is given to make sure our experience with Auctions Live continues to be an optimal one.
