Vendor Support Centre

Helpful answers and step by step guides for vendors selling by auction or private treaty.

Can I set a reserve price for my property before the auction begins?

Yes. This is done through your reserve price.

The reserve price is the minimum price you are willing to accept. It is typically kept confidential between you, your selling agent, and your auctioneer, subject to the rules in your location.

If bidding does not reach your reserve, the property does not automatically sell, and your agent will advise the next best step.
