Auction Software Pricing Models: Fees and Subscriptions

Auctions Live / Pricing models

Per-auction fees and subscriptions explained.

Auction software pricing can vary depending on the provider, the number of auctions your agency conducts and the features included. Some providers charge a fee for each auction, while others offer ongoing subscriptions or a combination of both.

Per-auction Pay for each campaign.
Subscription Pay for ongoing access.
Combined Access plus campaign fees.

01 / MODEL COMPARISON

How do auction software pricing models differ?

A property auction platform may use one of these payment arrangements.

Per-auction, subscription and combined pricing
Model How you pay What it means for your agency
Per-auction A fee for each auction campaign. Campaign charges increase with the number of auctions.
Subscription A monthly or annual fee for the agreed package. A regular payment for ongoing access to the included tools.
Per-agent subscription A regular fee for each agent who needs a paid licence. The total depends on the number of paid agent licences, not just the number of auctions.
Combined A subscription plus campaign fees. Ongoing access with separate charges for auction activity.

02 / PER-AGENT FEES

How do per-agent monthly fees work?

Some providers charge a monthly subscription for each primary or listing agent. If your office needs 10 paid agent licences, the monthly total is the per-agent fee multiplied by 10.

With a fixed-term subscription, the agreed fees continue for the contract period. An agent with no auctions for three months still pays those three monthly fees. If all 10 paid agents have no auctions during that time, the office still pays for all 10 licences each month.

03 / YOUR AUCTION PROGRAMME

Which arrangement suits your agency?

Start with the number and type of auctions you run. An agency holding occasional onsite auctions has different needs from a team running regular Multi-Lot events.

Ask for a quote based on that auction programme and the number of agents who need access. To compare annual costs, add the regular fees to the expected campaign charges and any setup or service costs. Include months without auctions. Use the same agent numbers, auction numbers and features for each quote.

04 / WHAT THE PLATFORM DOES

What are you paying for?

Auction management software supports work before, during and after the sale. When choosing auction software for real estate agents, consider how the included tools help your team:

  • Prepare property listings and organise bidder registrations.
  • Manage online bids and record bidding activity.
  • Show auctions and livestreams on the agency website.
  • Retrieve auction results and bidder records for follow-up.

An online auction platform for property can also support remote buyers. Include the website experience, presentations, training and support when assessing the package’s value.

05 / AUCTIONS LIVE

A package tailored to your agency.

Auctions Live offers tailored pricing packages based on a business’s needs and budget. Its real estate auction system brings together property setup, bidder registration, online bidding, website streaming and auction records.

Campaign fees support preparation, auction-day delivery and post-auction processing. The Auctions Live Fee FAQs explain how campaign billing works.

Tell the Auctions Live team which auction formats you run and the services you need. They can explain the pricing and help you select the auction technology for your agency.
